Utafiti Centre for Research and Technology was incorporated in November 2008 as an action research, capacity building and community development institution. During this time we have carried out various assignments in conservation, community development, climate change adaptation and capacity building. We have trained leaders from local authorities, government  parastatals and the private sector.

 

The conceptual, strategic and operational model of Utafiti Centre is chiefly premised upon using local skills and resources to develop localized and contextual solutions to local problems. Based on the five themes outlined above, the Utafiti Centre aims to provide the highest level of innovation, excellence and professionalism for both long-term relationships and one-off consultancies.
